3.2 The reactions of the scientific community to the official statements of
NASAAfter NASA had sent
a very large number of e-mails to the scientific world, some recipients responded.
Professor I. Mihaile, for example, of the University of Bucharest indicated
that he had already produced, on several occasions, some tests on pendulums, with results
very close to those indicated by Professor Allais.
In the same way, thanks to the US
review 21st Century Science & Technology, Professor Shu-wen Zhou of the
University of Huazhong in China, made known very interesting studies over the past 10
years, which entirely corroborate the conclusions of Professor Allais. Other very positive
responses arrived from Canada, Hungary, and Brazil where comparable tests had
been carried out.
4. FIRST
RESULTS OBTAINED AND CONTINUATION OF EXPERIMENTS PLANNED TO
DETERMINE THE DIRECTIONS OF THE ANISOTROPY OF
SPACE .
Some very positive results has already been
recognized and are being analysed with comparisons to former tests made during other
eclipses, especially with the many tests carried out in other periods with pendulums of
different lengths.
At the end of February or at the beginning
of March 2000, Dr. David Noever is expected to arrive in Paris with the data
from August 11, and other data, in order to review the results with Professor Allais, and
to draw conclusions, which will probably result in considering some additionnal
complementary tests
